CHAPTER PROGRAM INITIATIVES
ALPHA 360 Foundation
Our foundations goal is to promote and support the young men in our Alpha Ambassador Club Mentoring Program. The program is designed to develop strong leadership skills in young men attending high school and junior high. We use the program to cultivate reading comprehension, analytical thinking, essay writing and public speaking skills. Projects requiring independent and group investigation are assigned to encourage initiative and build confidence in developing research proposals. Participants represent some of the best and brightest students. Your generous contribution and support will greatly assist us in awarding well-deserving students with scholarships that will make a difference in their academic pursuits and ultimately their futures. All scholarship awards are disseminated through the Alpha 360 Foundation, a 501(c) 3, which is funded by donations from individuals and corporations.
ALPHA AMBASSADOR CLUB
The Alpha Ambassador program is a leadership development program for young men in the 6th – 12th grade. The program is designed to partner with families to support the growth and development of their sons. The program’s purpose is to cultivate the academic, civic, and career success of all who participate, with a curriculum focused on STEM, College & Career Readiness, Community Service, Leadership Development, and Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA
The Boy Scouts of America and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. have goals and objectives which make for a “natural alliance” between the two organizations. Through this alliance, the two organizations are achieving their goals by utilizing the Scouting program to its greatest potential as a programming resource.

The Nu Pi Lambda Chapter and the Alpha 360 Foundation embark on a journey to shape the future through our leadership development programs. The Black & Gold Scholarship Ball is a prestigious event celebrating our achievements and our program participants, as well as recognizing key partners pivotal to our success. This auspicious occasion awards educational scholarships to deserving youth, exemplifying the purpose and impact of the Alpha 360 Foundation.

MARCH FOR BABIES PARTNERSHIP
For more than 40 years, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and March of Dimes have been in partnership to facilitate the development of educational programs to include teenage pregnancy prevention, healthy lifestyles, prematurity awareness, and other health information that help the male and the family. Our collaboration on the Project Alpha program provides educational information to young adolescents through workshops and informational sessions hosted by local Alpha Chapters.

NIGHT OF COMMUNITY AND INSPIRATION
BENEFIT CONCERT
The Nu Pi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. present to the community an evening of music that will move your soul and provide community fellowship all for a worthy cause. “A Night of Community & Inspiration Benefit Concert” will feature amazing national and community musical artists, headlined by a chorus of Alpha Phi Alpha brothers from all over the DFW Metroplex area. The fundraiser will benefit the chapter’s “PHreeze Out Cold” Coat Drive, with a mission to secure coats for children within the Mansfield, Arlington, and Grand Prairie communities.
